Important Notice Regarding Seniority Integration

To: All USAirways Fleet Service Employees

Printable Version

On May 15, 2008, USAirways Fleet Service Employees ratified a Final Transition Agreement creating a new collective bargaining agreement that covers East and West employees, including a procedure for integrating the seniority lists of East and West employees. That procedure is set forth in Attachment C to the Final Transition Agreement which is also appended to this Notice.

The integration of East and West employees in a single seniority list is based on an employee’s date of entry into his/her classification as defined in the USAirways Fleet Service collective bargaining agreement. In accordance with Attachment C to the Final Transition Agreement, USAirways has prepared an integrated seniority list based on employees’ date of entry data in the Company’s records. That list was posted and made available to all USAirways Fleet Service Employees on September 19, 2008.

Attachment C provides Fleet Service Employees with the opportunity to protest his/her position on the integrated seniority list if he/she believes that an error has been made. Any protest must be made in writing to the Company and the Union by December 18, 2008. Employees on inactive status shall have 90 days from the date they return to work to protest their position on the integrated seniority list.

All protests will be reviewed by the Company and the Union. Any protests that the Company and the Union are unable to resolve will be submitted to a neutral arbitrator for final and binding determination.

Thank you for your attention to this Important Notice.

Fraternally,

S.R. (Randy) Canale
President & Directing
General Chairman
