United Airlines Contract
Each Member of District 141 employed by United Airlines is encouraged to communicate with the district, regarding negotiations with UAL Corporation.
You can do so in two ways: Contract Survey and Contract Proposal, differentiated below.
District 141 encourages you to participate in both.
All information collected remains confidential, and is retained solely within the union for collective bargaining purposes.
contract
survey
The contract survey is online, anonymous, and allows you and District 141 to rank the importance of multiple contract issues, across all work areas, line stations and hubs. It takes only minutes to complete and submit. Take contract survey now.
contract proposal
The
online
contract proposal aims to identify one single issue, of utmost
importance to you and your specific work area. This issue might be one
over which you could be willing to strike. Personal information from
your contract proposal is confidential, and used within the district to
better understand what issues are specific to what work groups and
locations. For that reason, the contract proposal does require you to
provide confidential, basic, personal information, such as name and work
location.
Make a contract proposal now.
contract proposal–hard copy
For those who do not have a computer, or who simply prefer not to use one, a downloadable contract proposal form is available. Like its online counterpart, the printed contract proposal form allows one and only one issue per form. You may download, print, and distribute freely to Members at United Airlines. (Due to the greater complexity of data gathered by the contract survey, a hard copy of the contract survey is not available).

Rich
Delaney, president and Chief Negotiating Spokesperson
This
past week members of the District 141 Negotiating Team met at
the Winpisinger Center. A week long intensive training program
was conducted in order to prepare the Team for the upcoming
negotiations with United Airlines.
The
training showed both the highlights and possible pitfalls that
previous bargaining committees have faced and provided
techniques for identifying problems and ways to correct them.
The Senior Mediator from the National Mediation Board, Zachary
Jones, presented the Team with the legal, technical, and
real-life aspects of negotiations under federal mediation. Since
only one contract in the past 40 years has been reached without
the help of mediation, this class was
especially
informative. Group decision making and dynamics were studied
throughout the week, since they will become an integral part of
reaching a successful result – a contract that the Team can
agree on and that will be supported and ratified by the
membership.
